The Fleet Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a structured, disciplined fleet management operation, with regular on-site management to ensure drivers are performing to high standards and meeting KPIs. This role entails actively driving change, enforcing protocol, and maintaining a consistent presence across various client sites to support drivers and ensure adherence to company standards. Additionally, the Fleet Supervisor will occasionally handle client trips, using a company vehicle when needed.Key Responsibilities
Fleet and Driver Management
- Driver Sourcing & Onboarding: Recruit and onboard drivers, subcontractors, and rental drivers as required.
- Training: Conduct training sessions to ensure drivers understand and meet KPIs, use the company Application effectively, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Performance Management: Monitor driver performance, implement disciplinary actions when
- necessary, and support driver retention initiatives.
- Structured Management: Uphold a disciplined approach across the fleet by enforcing established systems and protocols.
- Driver Support: Address driver inquiries, manage retention efforts, and provide support at client sites as needed.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct regular inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Vehicle Handover and Retrieval: Manage handovers and retrievals, maintaining accurate records and schedules.
- Fleet Management Protocols: Work closely with the Senior Fleet Manager to ensure that all vehicles meet protocol requirements and operate smoothly.
- Site Operations: Ensure sufficient driver coverage at all sites, proactively addressing logistical issues.
- On-Site Management and Client Support
- Site Visits: Regularly visit various client sites to monitor driver performance, address any on-site issues, and ensure drivers are maintaining KPIs and high service standards.
- Driver Accountability: Conduct spot checks and provide immediate support to ensure drivers are meeting expectations for professionalism and customer service.
- Client Relations: Act as a point of contact for on-site client inquiries and concerns, addressing issues in a professional manner.
- Client Trips: Handle occasional client transport needs using a company vehicle, ensuring punctuality and excellent service.
- Trip Analysis and Booking: Review client trip requests, ensuring proper booking, grouping, and
- driver assignment.
- Client and Site Liaison: Act as a point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, handling support
- tickets, and coordinating with client sites as necessary.
- Logistics Team Oversight: Supervise the Logistics Specialist team, enforcing KPIs and overseeing schedules, bookings, grouping, and assignments.
- Client Communication: Professionally handle client inquiries, ensuring satisfaction and timely
- Management and Process Improvement
- Team Management: Lead the Logistics Specialists team with a structured, disciplined approach, promoting collaboration and accountability.
- Project Planning: Develop and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Process Documentation and Reporting: Document and codify protocols, maintain accurate records, and prepare regular performance reports.
- System and Structure Development: Drive changes that enhance efficiency, introducing new systems and management protocols as needed.
- System Creation: Collaborate with leadership to implement structured systems and protocols.
- New Ventures: Support expansion initiatives and other projects led by senior management.
- Training and Onboarding
- You will receive training from the Operations Team, including Dylan, Cline, and [User]. We anticipate you will be fully operational within three weeks, with regular check-ins to ensure a smooth transition.
