Function To perform a combination of duties mainly related to the procurement and logistics of components. To direct all local procurement operations for the Commercial Parts Division and to ensure that parts are ordered and received on time. Duties & Responsibilities Manage local daily procurement by analysing the requirements and placing orders in line with company guidelines and requirements. Co-ordinate American foreign order requirements with sales. Obtain agreement on the stock ordering and stock holding parameters from management and the sales team. Negotiate pricing and delivery with local suppliers. Perform stock and price gap analysis. Assist Admin Clerk to GRV when necessary for received parts and complete documentation in line with company requirements. Co-ordinate with the technical team regarding the part number requirements for ordered components. Act as the point of contact between the Procurement and Sales department.
Qualifications & Requirements: : - Grade 12 / National senior certificate or equivalent. 5 Years experience in commercial part sales environment. Basic procurement and logistics knowledge. Mentally and physically fit to perform job function effectively. Skills & Requirements: Good understanding of procurement processes. Good understanding of logistics processes. Good understanding import and exports. Excellent administration skills, including planning and organising. Embrace knowledge beneficial. Knowledge of heavy-duty truck and equipment parts, suppliers, and manufacturers. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
