- Collating company documents and preparing SARS returns
- Assisting in a client's administration and operational processes
- Liaising with clients on a regular basis
- Assisting in the compilation of tax returns to ensure compliance across payroll and VAT
- Performance of the accounting function for various clients using Xero
- Generating customer invoices
- Capturing of supplier invoices
- Preparation of accrual and adjustment journals
- Monthly reconciliations
- Assisting with administration matters for clients
- Assisting with client budgets
- Assisting clients with developing or improving internal processes
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of annual information for our accounting and assurance teams
- Payroll function (prepare payslips, generate IRP5's, EMP201 and EMP501 SARS submissions
- VAT reconciliations to SARS
- Processing of online payments
- Reporting to directors and trustees on clients
- Communication with and management of relationship with clients
- Assist with migrations to Xero, implementation of Xero financial systems and training on Xero
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting (preferable)
- Experience in filing SARS returns (VAT, PAYE and Income Tax)
- Experience in preparing monthly management accounts
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Experience with Xero
- Excellent written and oral communication services
