Job SummaryJob & Company Description: As a Lead Engineer, you’ll take ownership of analysing, designing, developing, and maintaining advanced engineering solutions across products, processes, installations, and equipment. You’ll also lead and coordinate a team of Engineers, Technicians, and other technical personnel to deliver high-quality project outcomes.Based in Cape Town, this role gives you the chance to work on globally recognised projects and collaborate with international clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams across the mining, oil & gas, mineral processing, and heavy engineering sectors.Job Experience & Skills Required:

B. Tech / B. Sc / B. Eng degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
8–10 years of technical experience in a Lead Engineer capacity
Registered as a Professional Engineer with ECSA
Specialist knowledge in one or more engineering fields, with strong cross-disciplinary understanding
Experience with international design codes (DNV, Lloyds, ABS) in marine or heavy engineering environments
Proven leadership and mentoring experience with engineering teams
Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver OSBIT (on specification, within budget and in time) outcomes
CAD and 3D Modelling proficiency
Willingness to travel internationally when required
