Job SummaryAn established and innovative technology company based in Irene, Gauteng is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer (Java & Delphi) to join their Software Development Department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working on high-quality web applications in a technically challenging and fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of enterprise-level applications with a focus on Java EE technologies. A strong background in Delphi and experience across full-stack development will be advantageous.Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java EE and related technologies
Write clean, scalable code following best practices and development standards
Collaborate across teams to design, implement and integrate complex solutions
Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code reliability and performance
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical mentorship
Maintain and update existing software and applications
Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed
Document all aspects of software systems

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in software development or a similar role
Strong Java EE development background
Proficiency in IDEs such as NetBeans or Eclipse
Solid experience with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle)
Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web frameworks
Experience with front-end and back-end technologies
Experience with service-oriented architecture and domain-driven design (basic knowledge acceptable)
Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban methodology experience
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
Unit and integration testing experience
