Purpose of the Role: The role is focused on nurturing and expanding existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business to contribute to the continued growth of the organisation. We are specifically looking for a candidate with previous experience selling fresh consumables to hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality venues, combined with strong insight into the industrys requirements, trends and customer expectations.Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, delivering exceptional service
  • Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets
  • Profile customers and generate high-quality leads
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client communication
Criteria
  • Proven sales track record in fresh consumables to the hotel and hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality sector dynamics and client service expectations
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident working independently and managing priorities
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Afrikaans
  • Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport
