Assist with food preparation tasks (e.g., washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, ensuring everything is stocked and in order
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring they are cleaned to the highest standards
Properly store food deliveries and ingredients, adhering to food safety regulations
Keep work areas sanitized, including countertops, cooking stations, and storage areas
Assist chefs and cooks during peak hours to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines
Support the kitchen team with general tasks to ensure efficiencyRequirements:
Diploma in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts or a related field (essential)
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not required
Basic understanding of food hygiene, kitchen safety, and sanitation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
