The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and leading the team to deliver outstanding results. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a high-performance environment, ensuring smooth operations, strong staff engagement, and excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Store Manager in daily operations and team leadershipAssist with staff scheduling, rotations, and performance managementDrive sales by motivating the team and monitoring KPIs and targetsProvide mentorship, coaching, and feedback to staff membersMaintain visual merchandising and ensure store standards are consistently metHandle customer escalations and resolve issues with professionalismContribute to building a motivated, high-performing store teamAbout YouMinimum 3 years of experience in retail management or supervisory roleMatric certificate (essential); additional retail or management qualifications an advantageStrong leadership and people management skillsConfident in handling staff performance discussions and conflict resolutionAbility to monitor, assess, and drive KPIs and team productivityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented, reliable, and proactive problem-solverFlexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
