
Customer Software Support Consultant (Hospitality POS)

- Experience in software support or training, preferably in hospitality or POS systems.
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and stock management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
- Willingness to travel for onsite training and support.
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
- Technically proficient with a passion for customer success.
- Previous experience as a restaurant manager is beneficial.
- Deliver onsite and remote training sessions on POS software functionality.
- Train clients on stock control features including gross profit calculations, markups and inventory tracking.
- Educate internal staff on new software features and updates across all product lines.
- Audit client data to ensure accuracy and effective system usage.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Configure and set up client databases according to business requirements.
- Provide hands-on support during new business launches including go-live assistance and post-launch follow-up.
- Be available for after-hours support during critical onboarding phases.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, training sessions and support tickets.
- Participate in software testing and share feedback with the development team.
- Assist clients with troubleshooting and resolving software issues via phone, email or remote access.
