- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional culinary hands-on experience in a similar role, in a 5-star boutique or Game Reserve/Lodge environment (essential)
- Extensive menu development for Sous Chef and dietary experience (preferred)
- Extensive plated service / A la carte for Sous Chef experience (essential)
- Solid knowledge of health and hygiene in the kitchen
- Be highly familiar with the latest food trends
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (preferred)
- Energetic & proactive with a well-developed concept of the importance of providing a world-class guest experience (preferred)
- Ability to share information, teach and inspire others
- Ability to work under pressure and commit to tight deadlines
- Diligence and self-motivative
