- Schedule and planning of maintenance work to be performed on DMS
- Compiling periodic breakdown reports
- Maintenance and repair of refrigeration compressors
- Maintenance and repair of the heat exchangers
- Monitoring and maintenance and repair of air compressors
- Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the condensers and the water softener system
- Responsible for all the valve stations on the plant
- Liaising with the Foreman on the prevention of the re-occurrence of breakdowns
- Liaising with the Maintenance Planner to ensure the availability of critical spares
- Attending to breakdown timeously
- Analysing and ascertaining the root-cause-analysis of breakdowns
- Job cards input correctly submitted
- Attending to job cards submitted for the required work
- Managing the critical spares requirements for all equipment
- Assessing machinery & equipment break down and required spares
- Responsible for operating the machine according to SOPs and Health and Safety procedures
- Assembling, installing and/or repairing relevant machinery
- The successful candidate will report directly to the Refrigeration Foreman at the Maintenance Department
