- Manage logistics bookings, shipments and customer information
- Coordinate Logistics
- Follow up on shipments
- Day to day logistics management
- Arrangements with shipping lines and transporters
- Coordinate logistics processes with cold store
- Send loading instructions to depots
- Monitor and track shipments
- Prepare shipping orders, invoices, and customs paperwork
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and requirements
- Handle logistics administrative tasks related to bookings
- Manage data entry, filing, and maintain records
- Assist in billing discrepancies or disputes related to logistics
- Stay updated on industry regulations in fruit industry.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of booking processes and procedures
- Stock management
- Daily reports to suppliers and receivers
- Matric with Logistics degree or similar
- Previous experience in logistics in fruit export industry
- Strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and shipping regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings and documentation
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in computer systems and software
- Problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
