Supervisor (Multipurpose Ripening Rooms)

• Supervises staff.
• Responsible for the ripening of bananas and various other fruit.
• Attends to ripening rooms faults.
• Promotes the Market.
• Investigates, attends to queries, ensures health and safety regulations are adhered to and inspects/reports on the quality of produce.
• Responsible for receiving, checking and issuing produce at the multi-purpose (ripening) rooms.
• Undertakes stock audits.
• Identifies faults and reports breakdowns at the ripening rooms.
• Operates temperature monitoring systems.
• Checks on security of produce and the ripening rooms.
• Provides relief for Manager (Cold Store and Multipurpose Rooms).
