- The Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring the relevant project meets objectives on time and on budget, by increasing key stakeholder adoption and usage of the relevant solution. He / she will also support the Decision Inc. project team in integrating change management activities into the overarching project plan.
- The Change Manager will focus on the people side of change, including but not limited to changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures.
- The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize key stakeholder adoption and usage of the solution and minimize resistance.
- The Change Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher realization of and proficiency with the changes that impact key stakeholders. These improvements will increase benefit realization, create value, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
- Fully accountable for the success of Change Management on the relevant project and is the driver that holds the Change Management Stream together.
- Analysis
- Conduct impact analysis and assess change readiness, interviews with key stakeholders, review of existing business processes vs. to be and kick off the Change Ambassador network
- Design
- Apply structured change management methodology and tools in order to create a Change Management Strategy which will support adoption and adaptation to the changes required by the relevant technology implementation
- Design a detailed internal Communication Plan and external Communication Campaign aligned to the overarching project plan
- Implementation
- Execute the designed Change Management Strategy and associated change interventions
- Execute the designed internal and external Communication Plans
- Support the relevant stakeholders with the assistance from the Change Ambassador network through the project development, testing, and training phases
- Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivering of the user training
- Measurement and Reporting
- Design and deliver structured measurement of the success of the Change Management stream
- Weekly report to PMO Manager on the progress of Change Management stream on the relevant project
- Weekly and / or monthly reporting to the client on the progress of the Change Management stream
- Finance
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, Organizational Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Entry-level certifications (or willingness to obtain) such as:
- Prosci Change Management Certification (highly regarded in consulting).
- ITIL Foundation (for IT service management context).
- Agile, Scrum, or SAFe Fundamentals (for digital transformation projects).
- Project Management fundamentals (CAPM or PRINCE2 Foundation).
- Understanding of digital transformation concepts, such as cloud migration, ERP implementation (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), automation, data & analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Basic knowledge of IT project lifecycle and systems implementation processes.
- Familiarity with change management frameworks (ADKAR, Kotters 8 Steps, Lewins Change Model).
- Proficiency in productivity tools (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Miro).
