Diesel Mechanic

• Repair and Maintenance - fixing mechanical failures on trucks, trailers and yellow machines, including engine components, transmission systems and other parts
• Inspections and Administration - ensure compliance with Governing regulations and laws (eg Road, Traffic Act) - ensuring policies and procedures are upheld
• Safety - Maintaining workspaces and promoting shop safety, following established procedures for safe disposal of motor oil, tyres and other vehicle fluids, adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations

• 3-5 years experience in Diesel Engine, Truck and Trailer repairs
• Grade 12
• Valid Drivers licence (CDL Strongly preferred)
• Diesel technician or mechanic degree / relevant qualification with Trade Test
• Technical skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Analytical ability and Decision Making skills
• Communication skills
• Basic MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
