An Actuarial Analyst Opportunity (Rosebank, Johannesburg).POSITION INFO:
Are you an actuarial rising star with 4+ exams, solid technical skills, and a passion for making real impact?We’re working with a dynamic commercial insurer known for doing things differently, and they’re looking for a curious, driven Actuarial Analyst to join their team and help shape smarter risk decisions across Africa.What’s In It For You:
  • Work closely with a high-performing actuarial, underwriting, and
teams * Dive deep into pricing, reserving, and profitability modelling
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making, not just crunch numbers
  • A collaborative, supportive environment that encourages growth and exam progression
What You’ll Need:
  • 4 or more actuarial exams passed (and actively pursuing the qualification)
  • 2+ years’ experience in an actuarial role, preferably in short-term
  • Strong technical skills: Python, R, SQL, and advanced Excel
  • Experience or exposure to Power BI is a big bonus
  • A Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • Someone who’s driven, analytical, and passionate about using data to drive impact
