The purpose of the role is to ensure all cycle counts received from the Inventory Supervisor are completed accurately within the agreed (units per hour) performance targets. That the bin optimisation and bin integrity are executed as directed by the inventory supervisor and removing visible damages from the warehouse and handed over to the returns team.Job Specification:Key Performance Areas:Scanning/counting accuracy:
Ensure that all cycle counts are completed by means of the scanner as requested by the Inventory supervisor
Ensure all visible damages are removed from the warehouse and handed over to the returns department
Achieving Performance Targets:
Ensuring that the performance target (units per hour) is achieved
Eliminating damages:
Ensuring stock is handled in an acceptable manner, eliminating damage to the product
Time and Attendance:
Ensure self-discipline relating to expected time and attendance
Stock counts:
Attend all stock counts, count accuracy and achieve performance targets relating to stock countMinimum Requirements:Experience:3 years’ experience in a warehouse environmentQualifications:Matric/Grade 12/NQF Level 4
