As a Technologist in our Microbiology Laboratory, you play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of specimen processing across all benches. a National Diploma in Medical Technology or BHSc in Medical Laboratory Science
HPCSA registration as a Medical Technologist in Microbiology.

These qualifications ensure that you are equipped with the foundational knowledge and professional accreditation to perform confidently and competently in a dynamic laboratory environment. We are looking for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in a pathology laboratory setting. This experience provides the practical grounding needed to navigate the complexities of clinical diagnostics.Skills RequirementsSuccess in this role requires a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. You must be able to communicate fluently in English in order to perform basic numerical calculations with accuracy, and use computer systems effectively to support laboratory operations.
