- Build your Sales Pipeline: Identify, engage with, and sign (close) new prospective client schools within your sales region. This can include cold calling, attending relevant conferences, hosting product demonstrations at School Governing Bodies (SGB) meetings, pitching to multiple key decision makers over a series of weeks.
- Onboard & train newly signed clients. This includes scheduling product training sessions with school-end users, collaborating with several school stakeholders to ensure their partners understand how to explain and use our client’s product with their teachers, coaches, and parents.
- Work seamlessly with their account management team to handover your newly signed schools and ensure that they are set up for success.
- Work within their CRM system, to manage, track and update changes in your sales and account management pipeline.
- Previous success in a B2B sales and account management role; travel or remote sales experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills via phone and email, especially in a cold call environment.
- Previous experience with CRM systems or school management systems
- Strong computer literacy preferably with an understanding of payment applications.
- Strong administrative skills, with an ability to organise and manage your own time and meetings strategically and effectively.
- Beneficial: Experience in the school spaces either as an educator or in a sales role.
- Influential and outgoing personality
- A positive and persistent attitude is a must in a sales process that can sometimes feel slow-going.
- Resilience; you aren’t beaten down when faced with rejection or challenge.
- Attention to detail and a strong foundation of the basics. E.g. Your meetings are scheduled and executed strategically, your CRM is updated, and travel time is planned to support your weekly/monthly priorities
- A consultative sales and customer service mindset; you have a strong desire to draw out feedback and can present creative ways of solving problems schools face, especially post-launch
- Tertiary education preferable
- Valid matriculation certification
