Job Summary Qualifications: • B Eng / BSc / BTech / National Diploma discipline, National Certificate - NTC 6 Engineering (with relevant Trade Certification) in Mechanical or Electrical • Completed Government Certificate of Competence, Mines and Works (GCC). • Completed or in the process of completing a postgraduate qualification (Honours, Masters, MDP, etc.) would be advantageous Required Experience: • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Section Engineer (Legal Appointee) of which 3 years in a UG TMM environment, preferably in an operation that utilises caving and/or long hole drilling methods. • Must have good cognitive and analytical abilities. • Project management experience would be highly advantageous. • Experience in the in Underground Large Excavation TMM equipment and technology would be advantageous. • Experience managing a large contractor mining operation will be advantageous. • Operational readiness implementation experience will be advantageous.
