Objective of this role: Will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse in Newton Park, PE. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in warehouse management, preferably within the FMCG sector, and be capable of managing inventory valued at approximately R4 million in a 500 sqm warehouse. The successful candidate will ensure that receiving, storage, and dispatch functions are carried out efficiently while maintaining a well-organised and clean facility. Responsibilities: Receiving and Despatch: Manage receiving of cartons and despatch via courier or customer collection Oversee daily picking, packing, and dispatch operations to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time Stock Management: Unpack and shelve stock following deliveries Conduct rolling stock counts and assist with full stock takes Maintain control over returns, credit notes, swaps, and stock adjustments Facility and Team Oversight: Maintain general housekeeping and organisation of the warehouse Oversee facility maintenance and upkeep Manage and supervise warehouse staff as the team expands
Qualifications/Experience: Minimum Requirements: Matric Qualification essential 6 Years experience managing warehouse environment preferably in the FMCG industry Experience managing inventory with stock Computer skills- Proficient in MS Office, ERP system experience preferred Must have a stable work record with minimal job-hopping Professional verbal and written communication skills Stock Holding: Approximately R4 million Warehouse Size: Approximately 500 sqm
