R22 000 - R25 000 CTCOur client in the North West is looking for a skilled and experienced Fitter to join their maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, hands-on experience with plant equipment, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and problem-solving within a manufacturing environmentMinimum requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
- Qualified Trade Tested Artisan (Fitter)
- Valid Code 08/EB Driver's License
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with welding, motors, gearboxes, conveyors and elevators
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Good communication, conflict handling and team coordination abilities
- Ability to plan, prioritise and work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of integrity, accountability and motivation
- Hands-on, proactive, and results-driven mindset
