- A Matric certificate along with a qualification in IT Fundamentals, A+, N+, or similar.
- 0 - 6 months of experience as a help desk technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows / Mac OS.
- Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Some experience with desktop hardware support.
- A+ and N+ or relevant on the job experience dealing with computer and network troubleshooting.
- Valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle.
- Good attention to detail and ability to show initiative.
- The ability to work flexibly and with enthusiasm.
- The ability to communicate well with people at all levels verbally and in writing.
- Provide the team with technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware (this may be in person / via MS Teams / over the phone / via email).
- Hardware asset management.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Follow up with staff to ensure that the issue has been resolved.
- Printing / scanning support (IP printing, shared network printing, local printers etc.)
- Logging of all queries via the online Help Desk System.
- Collections and deliveries of hardware, software, and printer consumables.
