The Stock Controller will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and optimizing stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in stock control
- Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including incoming and outgoing stock
- Coordinate with management and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to reconcile physical stock with system records
- Identify discrepancies or variances in stock levels and investigate root causes
- Implement and maintain efficient stock control procedures to minimize shrinkage and losses
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and make recommendations for optimizing stock levels
- Generate reports on stock levels, movement, and trends for management review
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan stock replenishment accordingly
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to stock management and control
