The Head of Business Development will spearhead strategic growth initiatives by identifying new markets, forging key partnerships, and scaling revenue opportunities. This senior leadership role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in business development, ideally within digital health or health tech, who can balance strategy and execution while navigating a fast-moving landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational mission and growth goalsLead market research, competitor analysis, and industry monitoring to identify emerging opportunitiesIdentify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships and funding collaborations across healthcare providers, payers, governments, and investorsManage the end-to-end business development lifecycle, from pipeline generation to deal closure, including proposals and contractsBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team with a growth-driven cultureCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to align growth strategiesEstablish and track KPIs such as revenue pipeline, conversion rates, and partner engagementProvide regular reports and insights to senior leadership to guide organizational decisionsAbout YouBachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)8-10 years experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably in digital health or health techDemonstrated success in scaling revenue and developing high-impact partnershipsProven ability to build and lead high-performing teamsExceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skillsStrategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and execution focusAgile, adaptable, and motivated by driving impact in a mission-led organization
