Hire Resolve's client in the Beverage Industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Insights Manager to join their team in the Western Cape region.The Insights Manager will be responsible for providing actionable consumer, market, and category insights to drive business growth and inform strategic decision-making. They will lead a team of analysts, researchers, and data scientists to gather and analyze data, generate insights, and deliver impactful recommendations to various stakeholders.Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of the insights strategy and roadmap
Manage and mentor a team of analysts, researchers, and data scientists
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and formulate strategies
Design and implement consumer research projects to gather insights
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities
Use advanced analytics and data visualization techniques to derive meaningful insights and present findings to stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into the insights function

Requirements

5+ years experience in FMCG sector, ideally as Business Insights Manager, Category Manager, POS Manager or Key Account Manager.
Data-driven, yet a lateral thinker
Can identify and prioritise the key insights from a wealth of data
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills with sales data from internal and external sources
Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training skills
Strong planning and project management skills
Takes ownership of the delivery and effectiveness of insights that drive decision-making
point of sale or category development concept
Creative, with an eye for detail and know how to use the data to tell a story
Experience working with syndicated data (Nielsen & IRI), Nielsen Panel (homescan) and shopper metrics.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
