The successful candidate will lead the maintenance function at a luxury property in Hermanus, ensuring all facilities are maintained for optimal performance, aesthetics, and safety. The role involves managing staff, contractors, and operational procedures to deliver a seamless guest experience and uphold property integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all maintenance operations across the propertyCoordinate with hotel departments to address and resolve issuesPlan and execute preventative maintenance programsSupervise maintenance staff and external contractorsEnsure compliance with health, safety, and building regulationsRead and work from technical drawings and layoutsMonitor expenses and contribute to budgeting and cost controlDrive continuous improvement across facilities management practicesAbout You3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role within property or hospitality maintenanceProven leadership experience managing teams and projectsTechnical background in facilities, with hands-on knowledgeOHAS knowledge essential; qualification preferredA project management qualification is advantageousSolid admin skills and computer literacy (MS Office)Strong communicator, detail-oriented, solution-focused
