The role ensures operational efficiency, technical quality, and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of loss adjusters (desktop, field, project)Support claims, underwriting, and complaints teams with technical inputDetect and manage fraud risks in collaboration with Group ForensicsOnboard and monitor service providers; manage vendor relationsResolve escalated client complaints and support Ombudsman mattersDrive continuous improvement and support transformation initiativesEnsure process efficiency, compliance, and business continuityMinimum RequirementsQualifications:Advanced Diploma or Degree in Construction or related fieldRelevant building/construction certificationsExperience:5+ years managing a team of loss adjusters5+ years in building assessment or construction roles5+ years in short-termMembership in professional bodies (SAIA, PIRB, IOPSA, etc.)Knowledge & Skills:Claims assessment, fraud detection, and risk managementVendor and performance managementInsurance policy interpretation and complianceStrategic planning, budgeting, change managementStrong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
