Job SummaryPurpose Statement

To analyse the technical specifications to identify the business requirements.
To prepare and execute test cases.

Qualifications (Minimum)

Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Software Testing - Foundation Level through the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB)

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

A relevant tertiary qualification in Software Testing or Information Technology

ExperienceMin:

No less than 2-3 years' proven formal experience in QA testing within a similar environment
Front-end testing experience

Ideal (nice to have):

Banking IT system exposure
Experience in Integration, Regression, Automation and Non-Functional testing
Exposure to testing tools
Release management exposure
Experience testing on a mobile app / different types of devices (e.g., iOS, Android, Huawei, etc.)

KnowledgeMin:

Detailed knowledge of:

The full IT project lifecycle (SDLC)
Formal testing practices
Software and hardware testing

Ideal (nice to have):

Application of test tools
Release management
UML
