Forklift Driver/ Technical Assistant

- Ensure the depot is clean and tidy at all times
- Assisting clients loading and off-loading
- Forklift ensure that the forklift is in good working condition, fuel / oil as and when needed
- Basic administration skills including answering phones as and when needed
- Assisting with technical duties i.e. drilling holes when required
- Assist with dispatching / receiving and ensure all products are dispatched and returned in line with clients stock received
- Any other duties that may be required by senior management
- Forklift license
- Basic computer skills
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Basic technical skills use of hand tools
- 2 years in a similar role and / or worked in building retail environment
- Basic knowledge of steel and steel products
- Excellent communication
- Organized
- Solid understand of hand-tools
- Steel and steel product knowledge
- Multi-tasking
- Ability to use own initiative
- Excellent customer service
