Regional Manager with relevant short term insurance experience on a senior management level in the sales or distribution environment, with a formal tertiary degree as well as the required FSCA qualifications (RE1, RE5 and NQF4 minimum) required to manage, oversee and influence the allocated short term insurance office in the Western Cape Region. You will be responsible for business growth and to determine and implement marketing strategies, plans and tactics.Minimum requirements:

BCom Financial Management or Business Management Qualification required
Fit & Proper ITO of the FSCA requirements
RE5
RE1
Short Term Insurance qualification
Senior management level experience in the Financial Services Industry required
Minimum 5 years' short term insurance industry on a management level - preferably in sales and distribution
Knowledge of products, competitors, role players, instruments, markets and drivers in the short term insurance industry required
Knowledge of compliance requirements and regulatory legislation required
Financial Management and Business Acumen required

Responsibilities:

Manage oversee and influence the allocated short term insurance office within the region
Business growth and development
Implement marketing strategy, plans and tactics to increase market share
Execution of the Distribution Business Strategy
Recruitment and vesting of short term insurance Advisors
Drive profitability of branches
Develop and maintain strong partnerships and networks with internal and external stakeholders
Manage the advice, compliance and risks of the branches in the region
Ensure adherence to financial services regulations and compliance standards
Drive innovation, transformation and business initiatives
Financial Management - operational budgets and expenses
People management - performance management, talent development, coaching and mentoring.
