- Water Quality Management: Monitor water quality parameters and develop strategies to maintain or improve water quality standards. Conduct regular testing and analysis to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and standards governing water treatment processes. Ensure that all water treatment systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and environmental guidelines.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Provide technical support for troubleshooting operational issues related to water treatment systems. Develop preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
- Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for operational staff on proper operation and maintenance of water treatment systems. Maintain accurate documentation of system designs, operating procedures, and maintenance records.
- Research and Development: Stay abreast of advancements in water treatment technologies and methodologies. Conduct research and feasibility studies to evaluate the potential implementation of new technologies or process improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and regulatory compliance to ensure alignment of water treatment objectives with overall organizational goals.
- Proven experience in water treatment systems design, operation, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of water chemistry, treatment processes, and equipment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to water treatment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with project management and implementation of process improvement initiatives is preferred.
- Professional certifications or licenses related to water treatment would be advantageous.
