Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Officer to join our client's team. As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process for our client. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop procurement strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate contracts with suppliers. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with procurement policies, maintain supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's objectives
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure competitive pricing
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, evaluation, and award of contracts
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical practices
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes
Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends and best practices
Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, strategies, and best practices
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
Experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
Proficiency in procurement software and tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Benefits

Salary: R700K/yr - R800K/yr, negotiable
