Commercial Claims Consultant – Cape Town CBDCommercial Claims Consultant with minimum 3 years' Commercial Claims experience in the Short Term Insurance Claims environment, specifically with a Broker with a binder facility, required to start asap.Minimum requirements:

Grade 12
RE Certificate essential
Relevant FAIS accreditation required
Minimum 3 years relevant commercial claims experience essential
Experience within a Brokerage with a binder facility, preferred

Responsibilities:

Ensure minimization of claims and claims expenses
Relationship building with all stakeholders
Client service
Claims administration - received notification, process claim, appoint assessors, assess claim validity and administer validated claims
Obtain quotes for products/repairs
Negotiations with service providers, 3rd parties and 3rd party Insurers
Settle claims
Payment
Salvage and recovery registers
Recoveries
Assist with Management Reports
Follow adherence of underwriting process for cancellations
