- Coordinate and manage the Environmental Services Team Project Portfolio, including project oversight, quality control, meeting deadlines, managing deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction, delivering on the brand promise, preparing fee proposals and tenders, tracking budgets, and maintaining registrations on tender databases.
- Coordinate and manage the Environmental Services Team, Bird and Bat Monitoring team, and SDOD Team, focusing on quality control, deadlines, deliverables, client satisfaction, and professional registrations with SACNASP and EAPASA.
- Develop and implement operational systems and processes to improve efficiency in environmental services.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in ecological assessment and monitoring.
- Create new product offerings from the Environmental Services Team for the company.
- Enhance client relations and assist with project recruitment and development.
- Develop and implement training programs for the team on topics like EIA, legals, due diligence, and sustainability.
- Represent the company through public speaking at industry forums such as IAIA.
- Strengthen existing partnerships and develop new strategic ones.
- Improve the company's brand presence and provide administrative and logistical support.
- At least 4-5 years of successful private sector EIA experience in South Africa, ideally in renewable energy, with professional registration with EAPASA.
- Expertise in project management and permitting of large-scale EIA and ECO projects, environmental auditing, management programs, construction management, Equator Principles, SEMAs and regulations, regenerative design, and the renewable energy sector.
- Strong people management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and high standards of quality control.
- Demonstrated ability to manage clients and projects of international stature.
