- Generate leads and establish contact with potential customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Promote products and services through client visits and cold calling
- Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends
- Assist customers with queries related to pricing, availability, and product specs
- Open and maintain sustainable new accounts
- Achieve monthly sales and profit targets
- Prepare and submit accurate weekly/monthly reports and call logs
- Collaborate closely with internal and counter sales staff
- Conduct quotes, check stock, and process orders using Syspro
- Participate in stock takes and assist with customer account queries
- 3â5 yearsâ experience in steel and steel-related product sales
- Retail environment background required
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative is a strong advantage
- Experience using Syspro is essential
- Target and KPI-driven with a strong focus on customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Valid driverâs license
- Energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about sales
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Willing and able to travel daily to/from Worcester if not a local resident
- Committed to providing excellent customer service
- Capable of contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
