Internal Sales Business Development – Power ToolsLocation: GermistonSalary: R25 000CTC
  • Pursue opportunities for new business.
  • Receive communication from existing and prospective Customers in the form of telephone calls, emails, visits.
  • Service the needs of the company’s existing customers and respond to new sales enquiries to support the activities of the external sales team.
  • Promote sales by differentiation of Company Products and Service – use Technical Department and Quality Department as required.
  • Liaise closely with External Sales, ensuring that there is regular follow up on outstanding quotes and orders.
  • Ensure Customers are fully appraised of all related issues surrounding pricing, products and delivery and that all correspondence from Customers is responded to timeously.
  • Review outstanding orders and communicate with Customers – ensure that Customers are advised when an order will be overdue.
  • Interact with the Factory and/or Warehouse regarding production progress / stock availability and delivery.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating the issue, developing a solution and make recommendations to management or direct to Customer if appropriate.
  • Monitor the quality of Customer service and report problems to External Sales as required.
  • Monitor competition, gather market place information on pricing, new and existing products and delivery lead times.
  • Ensure that Customer information on NAV is complete including all contacts, and agreed budgets and pricing categories.
  • Understand and implement pricing structure as required.
  • Establish stock availability / pricing and submit quotes to Customers.
  • Follow up on quotes submitted to Customers as required.
  • Process Sales Orders.
  • Buy-out stock where necessary, ensuring optimal source and cost.
  • Print Packing Instructions or Picking Slips.
  • Print dispatch notes and/or invoices if required.
  • Communicate with other departments and Customers as required to ensure that orders are executed correctly.
  • All communication to the Customer is dealt with by the Internal Sales person. Any relevant information should be copied to the External Salesperson.
  • Do whatever is required to ensure Customer Satisfaction
  • Assist Directors in general management as required.
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have knowledge of the products sold by the Company.
  • Must have good communication and computer skills.
  • Must have worked in a similar position for minimum of 3yrs.
  • Effectively communicate with fellow workers so as to inspire them for continual quality improvements.
  • Have a friendly and confident manner with a pleasant disposition
  • Good communication skills with the colleagues and/or customers.
