Duties and responsibilities:
  • Record and process financial transactions accurately
  • Prepare and process invoices for customers
  • Manage cashbook entries and journal adjustments
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Manage debtors and creditors, including payment follow-ups
  • Assist with financial reporting and statements
  • Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping (electronic and physical)
  • Support the accounting and sales teams with ad-hoc tasks
Required skills and experience:
  • Minimum 4 years experience in an accounts/admin role
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles (journals, reconciliations, reporting)
  • Experience using Sage Pastel / Sage Evolution and CRM systems
  • Relevant qualification in finance or accounting (preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Excel and spreadsheets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation
