Mine Overseer - Mining

• Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets while maintaining safety standards
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of mining supervisors and operators
• Conduct regular inspections of mining equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
• Manage inventory of mining supplies and equipment to ensure availability for production needs
• Develop and implement training programs for mining staff to enhance skills and knowledge
• Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation for management review
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure coordination and efficiency of mining operations

• Grade 12
• Mine Overseer’s Certificate of Competency for Scheduled Mines
• 7 years’ experience in managing a deep shaft environment.
• Strong knowledge of mining techniques, equipment, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and mining software programs

• Salary: R900 000 - R1.0Mil/yr
• Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
