Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a dependable and skilled Company Driver to join their operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, materials, and equipment as needed for daily operations. This role involves occasional truck driving, as well as assisting with rigging and forklift tasks. The driver will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe movement of items between sites, warehouses, and clients.Location: Cape Town NorthType: Permanent
Duration: Full TimeKey Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily driving duties for deliveries, collections, and company errands
  • Operate trucks from time to time when larger transport needs arise
  • Load, secure, and transport goods safely and efficiently
  • Operate a forklift and assist with loading/unloading where required
  • Assist with rigging operations in line with safety standards
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are roadworthy
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
  • Adhere to all road safety rules and company protocols
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
  • Assist in general operational tasks when not driving
Minimum Requirements:
  • Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence
  • Valid Rigging Licence
  • Valid Forklift Licence
  • Previous driving and logistics experience (advantageous)
  • Good knowledge of local routes and road regulations
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when needed
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime
