Our client, based in Claremont, Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Creditors Clerk to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with strong creditors/accounts payable knowledge. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks advantageous) and intermediate Excel skills are essential. A Matric certificate is required, and an industry-relevant qualification will be a strong advantage. START DATE : A.S.A.P / ImmediateREQUIREMENTS:

Matric (Grade 12) is required
Industry-relevant qualifications are advantageous
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Creditors Clerk or in a similar role
Strong creditors/accounts payable experience
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks is an advantage)
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

DUTIES:

Accurately process and manage accounts payable transactions
Reconcile supplier statements and maintain creditor accounts
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Support year-end audit preparations and processes
Communicate effectively with suppliers and resolve any discrepancies
Perform related administrative duties as required

HOURS:

Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
