Minimum requirements:
  • Grade 12;
  • Formal Marketing Degree/Diploma;
  • Computer Literate: MS Office Suite, Graphic Design (Coral Draw or Photoshop), Social Media platforms;
  • Must have own transport;
  • Minimum 5 years working experience within a marketing management position required;
  • Self-Motivated and driven;
  • Excellent customers service and communication skills;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Innovative and creative;
Key Duties and responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Developing marketing plans and strategies aligned with overall business objectives, target audience, and market trends.
  • Market Research: Conducting market research to identify consumer needs, preferences, and trends. Analyzing competitors and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Product or Service Positioning: Defining the positioning and messaging for products or services to differentiate them in the market and appeal to target customers.
  • Brand Management: Managing and enhancing the organization’s brand identity, including brand messaging, visual elements, and brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Campaign Development: Creating and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, advertising, and events.
  • Content Creation: Developing engaging content for marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, social media posts, videos, and graphics.
  • Digital Marketing: Overseeing digital marketing efforts, including website optimization, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, social media marketing, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Social Media Management: Managing the organization’s presence on social media platforms, including content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking.
  • Advertising and Promotion: Planning and executing advertising and promotional campaigns across various media channels, including print, television, radio, online, and outdoor advertising.
  • Public Relations: Managing public relations activities, including media relations, press releases, events, and crisis communications to enhance the organization’s public image and reputation.
  • Budget Management: Developing and managing marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively, and tracking expenses to ensure cost-effective marketing campaigns.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring and analyzing marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, conversion rates, social media engagement, and campaign ROI. Providing regular reports and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing efforts with business goals and customer needs.
  • Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring marketing team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure team success and professional development.
  • Continuous Learning: Staying updated on marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies through ongoing education, training, and professional development activities.
