To co-ordinate and execute all mechanical engineering activities in the area of responsibility at the Brits Manufacturing Plant.

Main responsibilities

Reduce Machine Downtime

Repair breakdowns and do faultfinding
Daily walkthrough inspections
Make running adjustments
Note items for repair
Container Installations and Press setup
Bladder Changes
Mould/Container/Bladder Ring Maintenance
Mould Cleanings
Admin: Bladder counts and record keeping on a daily basis

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Attend CFT activities / scrap meetings

Safety

Execute work according to SOP's

Housekeeping

Apply 3S principles
