- 5+ years working experience in a relevant field involving Industrial Automation
- Skilled in:
- Basic Fundamentals of Electronic Engineering
- Basic fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (L/C) circuits design and analysis
- Basic fundamentals of Hydraulic circuits design and troubleshooting
- Basic fundamentals of Pneumatic circuits design and troubleshooting
- Basic fundamentals of Process instrumentation circuits design and analysis
- Computer hardware and software set-up, maintenance and troubleshooting
- PLC Programming
- AC and DC Drive Set-up, programming and integration
- SCADA applications development
- HMI applications development
- Industrial Communication networks troubleshooting - Profibus, Ethernet, Fiber Optic, Profi-net, Device-net, Control-net & ASi
- Competency on Allan Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware & Citect Industrial Automation products
- Microsoft packages proficiency- MS Office, Windows & Server
- Industrial Automation Systems integration
- Design, analysis and interpretation of - Electrical drawings, instrumentation drawings, Pneumatic and Hydraulic circuit diagrams
- Interpret P&ID diagrams, and modify when necessary
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of Industrial Automation systems using applicable drawings and diagrams
- Assigned to specific plants as its specific Automation Technician
- Maintain all industrial automation systems, in the assigned plants’ areas
- Upgrade outdated or discontinued industrial Automation systems
- Perform Loop optimisation and process optimisation in the plants, through performing verification and analysis
- Provide technical support and advise to the specific plants’ engineer and plant manager
