Snr Electrical Engineer (Heavy Current)

• HV Substation Design (132/88 kV etc.)
• HV Overhead Lines Design (132/88 kV etc.)

• Must have background or extensive knowledge of at least one or more of our core focus areas, being:

• HV Substation Design (132/88 kV etc.)
• HV Overhead Lines Design (132/88 kV etc.)
• MV and LV Reticulations Design
• Renewable / Alternative Energy
• Must be a registered professional engineer (ECSA) or at least liable to be registered
• Working with Microsoft Office packages
• Working knowledge of other packages like, Retic Master, PowerOffice, Bentley MicroStation, DigSilent, MS Projects, Dialux etc. will be an added advantage.
• Must be able to undertake different office tasks ( flexible to help if need by others)

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) or equivalent.

• Valid code B driver's license. (Compulsory practical driving assessment to be conducted prior oral interview).

• Five years' experience post qualification in Electrical field.

• Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech. Eng.

• Experience in performing Electrification design.

• Experience in Project Management.

• Experience in performing Electrical building design.

• Comprehensive knowledge on Occupational Health and Safety Act and its Regulations.

• Electrical building design

• Area light design.

• Substation design.

• Perform network studies on LV, MV and High Voltage network.

• Making use of drawing and design software programmes such as AUTO CAD, RETIC MASTER, POWER MASTER, CADDIE, ACTCAD, etc

• Project Management.

• Protection grading.

• Compilation of Tender document.

• Financial Management.

• Pricing estimates.

• Power Quality Administration and Management.

• Contract management: FIDIC, NEC, GCC and JBCC.ATTRIBUTES
