Job Purpose:The Finance Intern will provide support to the finance team in day-to-day operations, gaining practical experience in financial administration, reporting, and compliance. This role is designed to give exposure to core finance functions while contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of the department.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with processing invoices, receipts, payments, and expense claims.
  • Support in maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems.
  • Help with monthly reconciliations of accounts, including bank and supplier reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support the team in auditing processes by providing required documentation.
  • Contribute to data capturing and updating financial systems.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments under supervision.
  • Perform general administrative tasks within the finance department.
  • Participate in ad hoc finance projects and assignments as directed by management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Completed a Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems (advantageous but not essential).
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
