If you thrive on ensuring high quality of a vehicle, are able to work under pressure and demonstrate strong attention to detail skills, we encourage your online application.Position OverviewThe purpose of the position is to complete the quality and safety checks on all vehicles prepared to go on rent, ensuring that they meet the required vehicle quality standards and that permissible wear and tear defects are accurately recorded.Specific Role Responsibilities

Gate Control – ensuring vehicles entering and exiting areas of the depot are thoroughly checked and any non-conformances actioned.
Mark out of service\non-conforming vehicles and have distributed to correct locations
Receiving and checking vehicles from out of service locations
Check that all relevant documentation is relevant to the issues indicated on the vehicle
Assist with delivery\movement of vehicles as and when required
Completion of the prescribed vehicle quality checks as per required standards.
Follow all quality procedures as per the company’s policies and procedures.
Provide a quality service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum Experience:

1 year of quality control, inspection or administration experience

Minimum Qualification:

NQF level 4 (Matric or equivalent)

Minimum Requirements:

Code 8 driver’s license

Computer literate: intermediate level of proficiency needed on MS Excel and Word.

Essential to Note: The successful candidate must be willing to work overtime/shifts/weekends when required.
