Our Commissions department is looking for a great person to join their team as a debt Administrator to ensure all debt balances are reconciled and processed in accordance with internal policies.Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to:Prepare and complete debt reports
Reconciliation of broker / broker house commission
Weekly management reporting
Keeping stats / report writing
Drawing up repayment plan options / acknowledge of debt
Issuing of “letters of demand” to brokers
Liaising with intermediaries and franchises to monitor debt
Print & distribute of debt packs to franchises
Phoning of brokers to arrange re-payment plans for debt
Perform LOA, ITC and criminal checks on intermediaries
Liaising with Legal & Handing overPersonal Attributes and SkillsPerform a variety of administrative responsibilities
Ability to multi-task and attention to detail is vital
Ensure that delegated tasks are performed within proper time frames
Prioritise workload and address any immediate issues as and when they arise
Effective communication at all levels within the organisation (written and telephonic)
Client centric servicing and positive problem solving approach
Excellent time management
Deadline conscious and able to work under immense pressure
Work independently, but open to team work when necessary
Takes responsibility for actions and projects
Upholds ethics, values and demonstrates integrity
Adapts to changing circumstances, new ideas and change initiatives
Education and ExperienceEssential:Matric Certificate
2 year debt collecting experience within a financial service industry
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook knowledgeAdvantageous:1 year admin experience dealing with brokers
1 year experience with Discovery products
Accounting background
