Job Summary The purpose of this function is to facilitate all aspects of training in the Aircraft Avionician maintenance environment, which includes development of course material. Delivery of theoretical and practical training, assessment and moderating of all levels of training from 1st year up to trade test to all selected trainees.The following are non-negotiable requirements:

Satisfactorily completed a recognised apprenticeship in one of the trades designated for the aviation industry, preferably Aircraft Avionician
Have successfully completed an Assessor, Moderator and Recognition of Prior Learning course and be registered with the National Artisan Moderation Body (NAMB)
Trade Test Officer Qualifications, Professional and Senior Vocational is preferred.
Be a holder of a SACAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License endorsed with relevant instructor Ratings.
Completed Human Factors
Completed SA CAA CAT’s.
Completed SA CAA CAR’s
A Designated Examiner SACAA
Instructor Grade 1
Apprentice Electrical, Instrument and Avionician Instructor
Electrical, Instrument and Avionics Pulse/Non-Pulse X General Instructor
Civil Aviation Instructor
Human Factor Instructor
