This role will be a 1-3 fixed-term contract.Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- A recognized Diesel Mechanic qualification with minimum 3 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic with Construction Plant Experience.
- Exposure in a Construction Plant Workshop will be an added advantage.
- Drivers license is a prerequisite.
- Experience in hydraulic and electronic technology on newer equipment and vehicles.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and solve problems.
- Ability to work independently and function under pressure as well as maintain good people relations.
- Willing to work overtime and must have sober habits.
- Record keeping of services and repairs on all equipment and vehicles is a requirement.
